The gorilla and cultural trip starts with a visit to Omwami’s palace in Nyanza, continuing to the locally revered hot springs of Rugarama near Nyungwe Forest in South West of Rwanda, the largest afro-Montane forest in Central Africa. With over 10000sq.km in size, Nyungwe - the undisputed giant in Central Africa – is rich in birds, butterflies, over 300 bird species and a large host of chimpanzees, monkeys and other primates..

Upon your arrival at the Kanombe airport, meet our guide and transfer for check in at Kigali Serena or Okapi Hotel. After take Kigali city tour to the genocide, museum and the local cultural markets. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, at 
Dinner and overnight at Okapi Hotel. Meal plan: H/Bmeal plan: H/B 
After breakfast you will depart for Butare the second largest city of Rwanda and is regarded as the intellectual city of Rwanda. It hosts the National Museum, several academic (University) and research institutions. On your way to Butare you will visit Nyanza the former Mwami’s palace (King’s palace) and the seat of the feudal monarchy. The palace has been reconstructed to its 19th century state and shows a traditional dome that can be compared with the Kabaka’s palace of Buganda. You will visit the National Museum which is one the well set-up if not the finest ethnographic museum of East Africa. It’s a good source of information on the cultural history of Rwanda and the region. 
Dinner and overnight at Butale Hotel. Meal plan: H/Bdge. 
Visit the Botanical Gardens. Visit the locally revered hot springs in Rugarama. Lunch at Butare and later we will drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Your driver-guide will stop at the Uwinka offices to have the last update on the presence of the semi-habituated groups of chimps and Columbus monkeys. 
Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe forest lodge Meal plan: F/B 
Have your breakfast, after go for briefing about the rules and regulations concerning eco-tourism Chimp trekking in Nyungwe forest. This forest is among the rain forest in the world protecting some 13 species of primates including chimpanzees, the activity takes half day and after return to lodge for lunch and after evening spend it exploring the canopy walk and for those that have interest in botany, the flora in Nyungwe is perfect. You will also have a chance to view the other inhabitants of the forest like reptiles and butterflies, birds. 
Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B 
Have your breakfast and after transfer to Kamembe port in cyangungu for a boat cruise on Lake Kivu to discover various islands, islets and peninsulas as you head for Gisenyi. Visit the various islands on Lake Kivu like Napoleon Island, Island, Amahoro Island, all great for birding and bat watching arriving at Gisenyi in time for lunch. Later proceed to Ruhengeri-

Have breakfast, drive by speed-boat trip to Gisenyi. The trip is not only an encounter with local people; fishermen, fishing villages but also with the residents of Idjwi Island (Congo) who are rowing long distances in their dugout canoes to visit the Rwanda markets.

Breakfast, visit Ross Carr’s Imbabazi Orphanage centre. Stroll about at lake and visit other local villages. Imbabazi Orphanage was founded by Mrs. Rosamond Halsey Carr in late 1994 at Mugongo to care for the genocide orphans. Rwanda’s historical events, including the vinegary genocide of 1994. Encourage cultural tourism in Rwanda, Lunch and we drive to Ruhengeri and Kinigi for an Dinner and overnight at La Palma Hotel .Meal plan: F/B 
Have breakfast and after take a short drive to the park headquarters at Kinigi. 
Thereafter enter into the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas, carry yourself rain gears, walkable shoes, hut, insect repellent, sun screen and packed lunch, bottled mineral water. When you meet the primates relax down to see them playing and take unforgettable photographs-thereafter return to lodge for your Dinner and overnight at La Palma Hotel .Meal plan: F/B 
Breakfast; visit the grave of Dian Fossey and the former Karisoke Research Centre. Experience the legendary tale as you visit the wonderful site. Lunch and after hike to the top of the Bisoke volcano (3.711 m) of which the distinctive feature is a beautiful crater lake. 
Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B 
Breakfast; go for a tour of the city to markets, the handicraft shops and the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi, which takes a few hours. Lunch and prepare to take your return flight back home. End of services.
